THE SANITAIRE SC688 vacuum is for moderate commercial use. This vacuum uses a disposable bag system that is CRI certified and meets the clean air requirements for government buildings.The SC688 is designed for vacuuming carpet only. The hood is plastic, the handle and bottom plate (brush cover) are metal.This model is the same as the SC684 except it uses paper bags.
