This vacuum uses a disposable bag system that is CRI certified and meets the clean air and noise requirements for government buildings.The SC889 operates below 70dB and is LEED compliant for sound levels.The SC889 is designed for vacuuming carpet only.The hood, handle and bottom plate (brush cover) are metal. The SC889 comes with extra wide rubber coated heavy duty rear wheels and Sanitaire's exclusive quick kleen base for easy fan access.The on/off switch is located in the handle grip for finger touch control and the power cord is easy change for quick replacement.
